Re: NOt being able to sleep
I'm 28 weeks and I've had the same problem throughout my pregnancy. My doctor approved benadryl for allergies, it knocks me out at night. I try not to take it too often. I try to shut off the overhead lights on put on a smaller lamp when I start to get sleepy, it helps me get more sleepy and fights off that second wind that can keep me up until 2am.

Re: NOt being able to sleep
My Dr said Tylenol Pm ( or the Tylenol Simply Sleep (without tylenol)...It is just the same ingredient in benydrl or unisom. I have tried a few times when its bad.
I even know someone who was taking prescription Sleeping pills her OB prescribed every night for her PG. So I think they are fairly safe.
I also try to take a hot shower before bed and read, but that doesnt help me stay asleep.

Re: NOt being able to sleep
I have had this problem for weeks now, and then last night, I fell asleep at around 11 and didn't wake up until 6:30 this morning!! I really wish I knew how to make sure it happens again tonight!!!
