not sure how to handle this- sibling related

I have a 2.6 yo and 7.5 mo. 2 bedroom apt. toddler still in crib, baby in portacrib. baby was sleeping in living room at night. he is FINALLY starting to sleep thorugh, so i want to put them together. tried last night, my toddler flipped out, she doesnt want ot sleep with him. we've had terrible jealousy issues with her when the baby was born, but shes been better lately. tried again tonight, she started screaming liking a loon. now what?

If my 2.5 yr old objected, I personally would not put my baby in her/his room. I would be afraid something could happen and I would not want her to resent the baby. I would wait until the baby was about a yr before moving him. JMO.
