NOT "who are you voting for" but...
who in your gut do you see winning?
This isnt a question on who you want to win. should win etc. But who are you thinking, when the day is over, will walk away w/ the win?
Im TOTALLY for Barack and at first thought for sure John was gonna win.
Then i thought Barack again.
Now, i think too many people like this Sarah chick and i think its gonna be REAL close!!!!

I am all for Obama/Biden and sadly, I think McCain is going to win. There are still too many people in this country who are racist, ignorant - call it what you want - and will come out in droves to vote against a black President. It's depressing

This is my thought as well. I hope I'm right.
To my credit, I have successfully predicted the winner of every presidential election since 1984 regardless of who I voted for. And as an aside, how sad for Mondale that a 10 year old (which I was in 1984) knew that he didn't stand a chance.

I think its a toss-up at this point.
What I do think is ironic/sad is that we now start our presidential campaigns two years (at least) out from the election and by the time comes to vote we have knocked everyone way before the "convention" ---
Just think how different the candidates would be if we had only started seeing them this year -- maybe we would have selected one with better financial experience. Although I'm firmly for McCain, I think if what happened these last two weeks happened last year, it wouldn't be Obama and McCain running for the presidency.
Makes me wish we could go back to a shorter campaign season.

Good point! Racism and SEXISM are still strong. Personally I do not like Palin...or McCain...or Obama...or Biden.
