Emily used to get yeast infections often when she was younger, and there would be red bumps that would bleed down there when it got bad.
She was on Nystatin cream which worked WONDERS but I usually put Boudreaux's Butt Paste over the nystatin to hold it on her, since the nystatin rubbed onto the diaper really easily.
I also SWEAR SWEAR SWEAR by letting her tush air out. At each diaper change I'd put a waterproof pad under her bum and I'd hold her legs up with one hand and "fan" her butt with the new, clean diaper. I'd do this for a minute or two and I swear it helped dry everything out.

Im thankful that she is a happy baby most of the time...she is doing OK. The redness and rash and 'blisters' are WORSE today. I told daycare to keep an eye on her and if it gets worse today I have to come get her and take her to the doctor.
Today we're doing Lotrimin after every diaper change - this seems like a lot to me though...but Im following the ped's orders.

lotrimin works GREAT!!!!!!!! i use that on my ds all the time, it should clear up in a day or two. and the blisters are normal from the yeast infection. its normal but ugly.

SHe's OK. The redness is worse but the blisters are smaller. Its also spreading a little. I'll give the Lotrimin one more day and then I'm going to call the dr and bring her in.
