NSUH Manhasset or LIJ Ladies

I am batting zero here; Dr Klein is out and Dr Rohan who delivered DD is on maternity leave. My RE told me to schedule my first OB appointment for next week. I need an OB that BELIEVES in clotting issues?!

TIA

I see Dr. Marni Sanders at Women for Women- I also love Dr. Nicole Bell in that same practice- they deliver at LIJ... I'm not familiar with what you mean about clotting- but maybe you could call and ask? (516) 437-4300- they are in 410 lakeville, right next to LIJ

eta- this is my 2nd baby with them

See Dr.Kofinas and work with one of the OBs he works with. You would deliver out of Good Sam or Winthrop. Chat Icon He is the thrombo expert!

I would see if you can see dr nimroff at kleins practice he is great and also well known. Then for the appointments after your first one you can make with Klein.

I originally started seeing Dr. Duncan in that office who is really nice. I've met with Dr. Bell a few times and DH and I are secretly hoping that she is the one that delivers us. I've met all the doctors and they all seem really nice. I'm really happy that you meet with all of them before you deliver. There are 2 other doctors that cover at the hospital as well. I met one of them when I was admitted for kidney infection and she was just as nice. You can't go wrong with this practice but I DEF would make your first apt with Dr. Bell...she's AWESOME!

I also don't know about clotting issues but Dr. Bell seems to have a good knowledge of a lot of things. I suffer from rare headaches and have a nerve stimulator in my chest that is not a popular surgery, she seemed to know more then I did.
