NT scan at Madonna tomorrow - what to expect? UPDATE: Great experience!
I am so excited to be going for my NT scan tomorrow. It is surreal to me that after dealing with IF for so long, I am at 12w3d. Of course, as before any sono, I'm a bit nervous.
What should I expect tomorrow? How long does it take to get results? In all honesty, all I really want is to see my baby again on the screen!
We told our nephews about the baby yesterday, and will begin to tell others by the end of this week, so it's starting to feel real!
Update:
Everyone at Madonna was so nice! I loved seeing my LO's big screen debut. Our little monkey cooperated for the neck measurements and the sono tech was so happy. He/she was just laying there at first, then woke up and was moving all over. The sono tech said that everything looked great, and we got a lot of pictures. She mentioned that I have an anterior placenta, so I will feel the baby a little later than most others.
We also went for an appointment for genetic counseling, regarding whether to have an amnio due to my chromosomal translocation. We're still not sure what to do, but I'm leaning away from it at this point.

I've gone to Madonna for all of our scans and they are wonderful!! The big screen is such a nice treat so you don't have to twist your neck in 5 different positions. They are very explicit and super informative! Have fun!

I go to Madonna weekly for high risk apptd and they have been amazing.
I did my 20 week appt there and that took about an hour.
I never wait very long in the waiting room which is always great.
Which office are you going to? I will be at bright waters at 11 tomorrow

I hope yours going wonderfully!! I have been there twice for u/s and I never wait too long and they are SO great. I have an appt with my doc 1 week after my scan and he expects to have the results by then.

Re: NT scan at Madonna tomorrow - what to expect?
I went there for my NT scan at 12 weeks...they were great. The sono tech was super nice & we loved every minute of it.
After the sono, they just pricked my finger & smeared my blood on a piece of paper & that was it lol.
I also went back for a meeting with the genetic counselor to go over our results & she was very nice also.
Both times I dont think we waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.
I'm actually headed there on Tuesday for my Level II.
Good luck to you & enjoy watching your LO on that big screen!!!

Re: NT scan at Madonna tomorrow - what to expect?
I just went for my 12 week scan at the Mineola Madonna yesterday! (I was there every 48 hours with my last pregnancy for the last month ) They are so nice there! You get a big room with a big flat screen TV mounted on the wall. They are very thorough and explain everything as they go along. They will give you tons of pictures at the end Then you go to another room and you will get a finger prick and have to put 5-6 drops of blood on a piece of paper. That's it Enjoy!!!
