Nutramigen vs. Alimentum?

Nutramigen vs. Alimentum?
If you tried these formulas, which one worked best for you? (Sorry for posting so much about Nutramigen.. trying to find some sort of answer or advice here and what the next step is in combination of contacting the ped... thanks ladies.. you all are so supportive and helpful  )

I might be mistaken but I thought they were for the same things, but one is Enfamil and one is Similac. DS is on Alimentum and has been since he was about 4 weeks old. We never had a problem with it. If you do switch to these formulas, check to see if your insurance covers it.

I agree. I think they are the same. I used Nutramigen with DD and Alimentum with DS. I only changed because that's what the ped gave me as samples to try.
My insurance covers it and it's a great help. Definitely call Apria and see.

they are equivalent....we used nutramigen but had BETTER luck with Soy for his colic/gas issues. BOTH of which were covered as long as I had a script saying it was medically necessary

we tried both, and Nutramigen worked better for Christopher. The Alimentum made his poop green
