those who used alimentum or nutrangmen(sp?) did it help
i am not sure if ds has an allergy or not but at my sil suggestion i bought alimentum. her son didnt have an allergy but was like my ds always looked uncomfy never settled down after eating and her dr said try it. so i boght a can of the $$$$$$$$$$$$ i am hoping i see a difference. did it help you?

DS was put on Alimentum for his allergy/reflux issue. I am not sure I really see a huge difference but the doctor wants us to continue him on it for a while longer.

Before we had my ds tested for food allergies, our pediatrician had us try nutramigen. It helped some, but since he was allergic to milk he was still having reactions. We ended up having to go onto Neocate.

Christopher was on Nutramigen due to an allergy, it worked WONDERS

DD was put on Nutrimagin for acid reflux and the day after I started her on it she was a different baby...instead of screaming for 6 hours she only has a slight fussy time for about an hour a day. I hate that its so expensive but I wouldnt take her off of it!.

mY youngest was put on alimentum for a suspected protein allergy-she had blood in her stool-it didn't work for us, she needed neocate.
Personally, i wouldn't go to that formula unless the doc says so for medical need, it's very $$$$$$ to pay for out of pocket. Thank god my insurance covered it.

Lauren went on Alimentum for reflux and it make her worse so we went back to Sensitive and all is fine. good luck.

DD is on alimentum because of allergies. It is better for her but it's not working for her 100% because she still has rashes all over and gets bad gas a few times a week. But it is such an improvement from the every day crying fits we used to have.
