nyc employees- ghi question
I may totally be making this up, but I think I remember hearing that when you are pregnant you only pay a copay once to your pb/gyn throughout the entire pregnancy??? I couldn't find anything online but there's a lot of navigating between ghi and emblem health and the city websites so anything is possible. Has anyone else heard of this?

That is how it was handled for me. I only paid the co-pay for my 1st and maybe 2nd visit. Then no copays.

I dont have GHI, but thats what i was told last time (i have UHC) i was told i only pay one until the end of the pregnancy!

Thats correct.....
We have GHI and I dont pay any co-pays-except for the sonos

NYC teacher with GHI and we only pay the dr copay once, but I do pay 15 copays for sonos and blood work. If I just go in to see the dr (no bloodwork, no sono), I don't pay.
