NYC girls - Which stroller?
For those girls that live in NYC, which stroller are you planning to get? We don't have a car since we live in Manhattan so I'm not sure if the travel system makes sense for us.

Every NYC mom I know has either the Bugaboo or McLaren.
Urbanbaby.com is probably a better place to ask.

Re: NYC girls - Which stroller?
I'm seeing far fewer MacLarens here in the city than a year or so ago. LOTS of Bugaboos, Peg Peregos (esp. the Aria), and some Inglesinas.

If you are going to use it everyday in the city, I suggest a Bugaboo! Do you have Quinny Buzz's in the states?? THey are very good also!

Re: NYC girls - Which stroller?
I live in the city and have been doing a lot of stroller research. I'm going with the Frog Bugaboo. I chose the Frog over the Chameleon because you have to get the Chameleon in the fleece fabric and I've noticed that every Chameleon I see on the street looks sooo dirty and the Frog looks much cleaner b/c they are canvas. Also, when the baby gets older (around 6 months), I would consider getting the BOB Revolution. It's a running stroller, but it is excellent for maneuvering around the tough city sidewalks. I have a good friend that RAVES that the BOB Revolution has been her life saver when it comes to getting around the city and folding it up quickly to hop in a cab. Considering that she is 5'0" and the most petite little woman, I really treasure her opinion.
When it comes to the Stokke, I've seen a few of them around the city and they seem too big and odd when trying to get around busy sidewalks and small spaces in the city. Everytime I see one down the block, I'm always like what is that huge spaceship that woman is pushing around!!
In terms of what's the most "popular" city stroller-- by far the Bugaboo. You can not walk down a street on the UWS or UES w/o seeing one!
