I remember that one. I was in HS in Staten Island. I was so excited, b/c it had been YEARS since we had gotten a snow day!
I'm another disappointed one. I don't work for a NYC school, per se, but a special ed preschool that follows the NYC schedule, so we're open. I'll make my own decision in the morning when I hear how the roads are.

I remember that one too! I was in 6th grade and I think my school was closed for a week! That made for some killer snow forts

1996 was the last time! It was my first year teaching! I LOVED it!!!! I will not lie! And I really wanted another one tomorrow. I teach at a hs and the kids won't come in because so many of them live far and while Manhattan looks great, the outer boroughs don't get the same treatment!

LOL.....You have kids that don't come to school when it rains either, eh? This drives me insane!
