NYC Teachers... delivery insurance?
I'm curious... When we deliver the baby, does that go under GHI insurance or Empire Blue Shield?

Empire since I assume you are delivering in a hospital. Empire is he hospitalization coverage
My dr did the paperwork my first appointment and I got a letter from them that it is authorized (no sh!t, lol).
I think I only paid $200 on my bill with my first

I think the copay is 300 now. I called them to get the info and then got a letter from them saying a 2 day stay was covered for vaginal

Empire BC/BS hospital portion covers the hospital charges and what not, your OB gets paid by GHI because they charge a global fee for your entire pregnancy.

Copay is 300 - if you have a secondary make sure they file under that too.
I didn't have to pay the copay

Empire is hositpal, GHI is doctors.
