NYC Teachers--Life Insurance
How did you go about getting LI? Do we have it already? I am so confused! Any thoughts or suggestions?

I got it through the UFT's insurance program. It might actually be NYSUT. Anyway, I remember getting paperwork and contacting the MARSH company for it. try here

We went through NYSUT. I think it's through NY Life.... DH and I both have it as payroll deductions. any teacher in NY can get it through the union and have the premiums automatically deducted from their paycheck.
