NYC teachers If you went off payroll during a maternity leave
How long until you got back on? I am anxious about this.

Ugh- it was a while and I was p!ssed. I don't recall exactly when I went off but I went back to work on May 21 or thereabouts and I did not get a check till the last day of school. The other odd thing was that they lumped everything into one check, including my summer pay.
I wonder how much has to do with the payroll person too. The one at my school is very nice but I really felt like she was misinformed. That didn't help.

It was a really big problem for me. I went off in April and came back after Memorial Day. They never put be back on payroll. In fact HR called my house to see if I went back to work.  I wound up having to get a special check cut the last day of school for the entire summer and the month I was back because they screwed up so bad.

i came back in nov..they never stopped paying me and then randomly didnt pay me 1 check..then i had all my summer checks cut by almost half..it was such a confusing mess..

I was out since March and I returned to school in Sept and I didnt get paid until November 1st. I did get my summer checks though.
