Dr David Bergman - he's a great Dr., extremely competent and assuring. He has a calming presence, great knowledge and a killer sense of humor.

I LOVE HIM!!!I drove over and hour each way from upstate for him to be my OBGYN
I also started seeing him recently based on some recommendations - (dandr's was the reason I finally made decided to see him).
I went to him after I had a miscarraige and a terrible D &C experience so I had to change drs. I was pretty desperate for help.
He was kind, and understanding, and although I dont usually prefer men I felt he really understood me.
He can be a little sarcastic - which if you find funny can be really funny...I have one friend who didnt "get him" and left because she thought he was rude...but I really dont think he is.
PLus - like others said....he certainly isn't rough on the eyes!

If I were you I would look for someone that delivers at LIJ. I have heard much better things about their maternity ward.
I jsut wanted to add that although I think LIJ is AMAZING as far as a hospital goes I had a terrible post partum experience there.
I couldn't walk- and my DD was in the NICU - so I had to be wheeled down by the nurses everytime she needed to be fed (i was nursing). Every time I had to be wheeled down I got SUCH an attitude and sometimes they just wouldnt come - which led to my DD being bottle fed...PLUS I asked for a pump 100 times....when it finally came I had no idea how to use so I asked the nurse...serioulsy NO LESS than 20 times for help and no one ever came.
Everyone has a different experience I guess. I love LIJ - but I am changing to NSUH for next time....

think there are 4-5 doctors in the whole practice. i mainly used dr. hetty chung and dr. wendy fried. everyone is so nice there and helpful.
These were my doctors in NY. I LOVED them! I cannot speak highly enough about them!

Dr. Terry Rifkin of Great Neck OB/GYN.
This is a very good group - They also have three other dr's in the group -Dr Victor Klein, Dr. Michael Nimeroff, and Dr. Kauffman who are all OB/GYNs. They also have a dedicated radiologist MD so that you can do your sonos right in the office. Dr. Klein is also a Maternal Fetal (high risk) dr. so if you have complications you don't have to go to another office.
They are at 900 Northern blvd in Great Neck.

Yes Dr. Sadaty made a statement to the papers about the twins when they were born.
