thanks everyone.
now, looking back, i feel so bad. i didn't really thank the lady who helped. when i got to the animal hospital, i just about ran past her, to my son. i thanked her, but it was said in the same breath as i asked where my son was.
i hope she knows how grateful i am for her helping tommy and odie.
tommy is on antibiotics and was able to sleep, last night. he was like a zombie, at dinner. he just kept asking me when we'll get odie's remains back from being cremated.

i am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is never easy, especially in such a harsh manner. You and your family will be in my prayers. Again I am so incredibly sorry.

im sooo sorry, im crying for your son, brings back memories of my dog when i was younger. he was hit by a car also.
it will get better, but it will take time.

thank you all.
your kind words mean a lot to me.
tommy seems to be doing ok, today. he's a little active and participating in what we've been doing.
today, i went to the animal hospital to sign all the papers for the cremation.
we should have odie's remains a week from monday. i'll leave it up to tommy to decide what we do with the remains.
