Total loss is 72.8! 
I had SUCH a hard week food wise. There was temptation everywhere.  I think going to the gym for me is key to keeping me on track. Knowing I busted my azz at the gym makes me not want a christmas cookie.

Everyone is doing so wonderful!!! I am so happy for us  
I am one weigh-in away from lifetime!! I really hope I hit it this week and end the year with a bang 
Anyway I will be around next year but I will be focusing on maintaining. I still want to lose a few lbs but I am going to do that slowly and without any time limits. Just taking it week by week!
I am hoping one of you wonderful ladies starts another ww thread next year - I'm passing on the torch!
Hope this is the best year ever for all of you!!! You all work so hard and deserve the very best and all that life has to offer.

Azad, you are such an inspiration to us all! I would be happy to take over the WW thread, BUT hopefully I'll be at goal pretty soon. So, I won't be losing much more. Once I hit goal, I can't lose much more because I'm on the lower side of the healthy weight range scale. With that said, I think it should be someone who is starting or in the midst their weight-loss journey since that is when you have all the good tips
Good job, and I never would have thought I would still be posting on this thread a year later

Even with Christmas this week, I lost
6.2 lbs!!!!!!
I was so so so so good with my diet, even with all of the food around me. I cut out soda, and it made a HUGE difference! I can now fit into a size 12!

Okay as for me - I think I cheated weight watchers yesterday 
I weighed in yesterday 2 lbs below goal. It was my 6th week on maintenance so I thought that meant I was lifetime right? WRONG! 
I told my leader that I hit lifetime yesterday during the meeting and he had no clue about it. I asked the receptionist afterward and turns out I have to weigh-in next week as my first official lifetime weigh-in. Same difference to me So I cheated but in my heart of hearts yesterday I became a lifetime member whether weight watchers agrees with me or not
Anyways I am looking forward to the challenge of maintenance and seeing each and every one of you achieve the once "impossible." I can't wait to see what 2009 brings!!!!

They are wrong you are right! Congratulations on achieving lifetime. That is such an amazing accomplishment that I know you worked your azz off for. There was nothing easy about it. Just blood, sweat and tears. I truly admire you and cannot wait to be right there in the maintenance phase with you!

My update. Christmas Eve evening until Friday evening was an eating frenzy.  That darn monster came out after I was able to keep him under wraps for most of the holiday season. The positive is it was only 2 days as opposed to 6 weeks and I faced the music and weighed in on Saturday morning and as expected was up. So it is a new week and I am fully back in control where I want to be. The other tricky part. DH and my birthday is this week and we are taking a trip so that will be another challenge for me. Ready to face it head on. Say a little prayer for me!

More random thoughts...
Okay I just re-read the entire 2008 workout log thread. Yes all 33 pages! What can I say I normally don't have caffeine and I had some today. But I am so happy with my progress. Started out being only able to do a fast walk in Jan 08 and now I can run over 1.25 miles without stopping. My goal for 09 is to a) run a complete 5k race without stopping to walk and b) track all my workouts and walk/run 250 miles in 09!
WW'ers - what are some of your workout goals for 09?
Okay time to try to get some sleep.

As for me...I am a delinquent. I didn't go on Sunday because a. I overslept, which doesn't get to happen often and b. I diidn't want to end the year on a plus . BUT, I weighed myself today and I am not up anything (not down anything either). So that's a good sign
All of you ladies have been amazing!!! I know with the new year coming, we will ALL achieve the goals we set forth. It will be difficult. We will cry. We will hate it at times. But that's what makes it soooo worth it!
Kim, for your question: my WW goal for 2009 is to feel this good about myself next year at the same time. I am so happy with myself and my life...I just want to hold on to this feeling forever. And, I can. It's all under my control. And as long as I don't lose that control everything will be fine!
