How's everyone doing? I had a check up yesterday, not dilated at all yet but everything looks good. I can't believe I am 39 weeks, nuts!

***OFFICIAL APRIL 2015 THREAD***
Just had my 36 week appointment today -- baby is head down and I'm just about 1cm dilated. Anyone else due at the end of April already dilated? I know it means nothing and that some people walk around dilated (more than 1cm) for weeks. I can't believe its almost here!

I'm due April 22 and I'm 37wk now. I'm 2cm dilated already and he's low! I can barely walk around he feels like he's going to fall out lol
My girls were 3wks early so I'm just waiting patiently for his arrival

I had my first internal yesterday and I'm still closed up. I thought for sure I'd be at least a little dilated or something, but no. I guess that's a good thing sicne the nursery isn't quite done yet

same here. Absolutely nothing going on yet. I didn't dilate early last time either. Still early though!!

I am feeling okay. Some light cramping and back pain on and off since yesterday but no consistency to it at all! I went to the doc on Monday and they said I am still not dilated at all. They will let me go 2 weeks passed my due date before inducing so lets hope this little nugget comes soon! Yesterday was my last day in the office too which is nice so I am able to relax a little bit more.
How is everyone else doing?!

***OFFICIAL APRIL 2015 THREAD***
I have my 37 week appointment tomorrow -- last week at 36 weeks I was 1cm dilated. I feel good, with the exception that my hips have started to kill me. I have hip problems to begin with, and this is no doubt aggravating it. Going to a chiropractor that specializes in pregnancy adjustments/alignments on Friday and hoping that brings some relief! Will update tomorrow after appointment. How does everyone else feel?!?!

I'm still here-- nothing going on as far as progress. One more week of work then the waiting game begins. I'm getting so anxious, not about the birth so much (well, a little bit about that) but more about the change in routine being home all day (I will miss certain things about my job & working-- though I'm going back several months down the road I will be out for a while), change of going from 1 to 2 kids & how I'll handle that... and starting all over with a newborn again so bf-ing/pumping & not having the evenings free to get things done & have time for myself after DS goes to bed, sleepless nights to come, etc... I'm worried he'll be as difficult as DS was as a newborn... if so I may lose my mind. These are the things keeping me up at night. Physically I feel better than I did a month ago-- actually I am feeling too good so I'm thinking this baby will be staying put for a while-- absolutely no sign of labor coming any time soon (I'm 38w1d right now)!

Hey ladies! I am still here with my huge belly! This kid seems nice and comfy at 41 weeks. I went to the doc this past Monday and was about a cm dilated. She stripped my membranes and after that I was having contractions pretty for about an hour on the monitor but they eventually stopped. They will let me go until next week and if nothing by then, on the 22nd I will be admitted to begin cervadil.
I also tried acupuncture yesterday and will be going again tomorrow morning. I didn't love it but I am willing to try anything to avoid an induction. Inductions just scare the hell out of me after seeing my sisters go so bad but of course, I will do whatever is necessary. I do feel like I have been having contractions on and off though all day so fingers crossed for me girls!
Hope you are all doing well! I can't believe we are all at this point!

Good luck!!! Hopefully they don't have to induce you. Just pull out all the stops- eggplant parm, labor salad, pineapple for dessert, sex, walking, squats...not necessarily in that order

I understand the anxiety. I'm kind of in the same boat. Since this is our first, I really have NO idea what to expect from L&D, recovery and what kind of kid we'll have. Its all the fear of the unknown. We're really excited though. Definitely starting to feel "ready" and anxious to meet this kid already!
