Im doing well. I'll be 34wks on tues. Starting to finally get things moving along for this baby. Last night I was thrown a surprise sprinkle and I got everything I needed and then some. It was really sweet. DH has been rockin and rolling with the construction upstairs so we will all have our rooms back in about 2 weeks. So I can finally starting putting all his furniture together and wash his clothes.
I had some mild contractions on Friday morning but I made sure to rest and eventually they subsided and I've been ok ever since. I can't believe I'm almost at the end already

My Uncle found a temp. I start training her tomorrow. Feeling a bit less stressed, but given I had some contractions over the weekend, I'm still nervous about it.

Anyone else feel super hormonal? I'm 35 weeks and I swear I wake up in a rage every day lately. It's terrible. I have 4 weeks until my c section. I don't know if I can make it until then!

Ooh DH would never say that, but he sometimes laughs when i complain. Which I used to find amusing but not so much this last week. I haven't been angry but certainly moody, but I think that has more to do with being so freaking uncomfortable. Pre-surgical testing tomorrow. Under the 2 week mark to my 38 week c-section.

I went for my 36 week check up today and got to see this munchkin. They are estimating it around 6.5 lbs but I know that could be off a lb or so. Getting so close!

Even though I was originally an April mom I moved my expecting date to my c-section and I am now #2 on the expecting list. OMG!!!

That's awesome!! Must be a big weight off your shoulders!!
Dana- That's great that you guys are making progress! I'm a little jealous. Our nursery still is just in a very sad state. We need to get cracking!

Yea I've definitely made alot more threats toward DH lately (i.e. I'm going to punch you in the throat if you don't stop...etc.  ) Most of these are idle threats but sometimes I worry. I've also felt myself just getting nasty for no reason. At least I'm catching myself most of the time before I go completely off the reservation

just had my 36 week sono and DD is measuring 7lbs 3 oz! i'm gonna have a behemoth on my hands!
ETA I looked up DS's stats...at 37 weeks he was measuring 7.1lbs. she's already bigger and he was 8.15 at birth.

Had my growth sono this morning... he is measuring 4 lb 9 oz (exactly 50th percentile for size), good amount of amniotic fluid, head down & tons of hair already... He would not stop moving-- he's beating me up on the inside-- & kept putting the cord in his mouth lol... so different from ds1 who barely moved during sonos. 7 more weeks... I can't wait!

I am 37 weeks today and had a dilation check today. I found this weird because this will be my third scheduled c section and I think my dr only checked me my first pregnancy once. Do ladies who have c sections usually get checked?

Scheduled C-Section… No internals and no growth sono. He said since were going at 38 weeks no matter what and I am IVF so we know my exact date of conception a growth sono is not necessary. Makes me sad though. But then again I get to see her fully in a week and half.

last 2 days ive been getting period like cramps. everywhere i read it means the body is preparing for labor and the baby will come soon. i'm only 36 weeks. my shower is saturday! i just want to make it to saturday! LOL i hope she stays put for now

I still can't believe some of you ladies will be holding your babies in a couple of WEEKS!!! I'm so excited for you! I still (hopefully) have about 6 weeks left.
As long as I make it to Easter, I'll be happy 
What have you ladies been doing about swelling?? I wore flats for a couple days and my feet BLEW UP! I was at the dr. last night and she told me that flats are a no-no. I need sneakers or something with compression. Just looking for ideas...

my hands and feet are SOOO swollen! i had pre-eclampsia the first time so i keep worrying about that...but so far all is normal. now that its warmer i've been wearing flip flops. its the only thing thats easy to put on and off. i can't bend over anymore. LOL

I have to wear compression socks up to my knees every day. Otherwise the pain in my legs becomes really intolerable especially standing for a long time. I haven't had swelling yet (had it bad last time but so far not this time yet), but for that I just keep my legs elevated above the heart & drink a lot of water... not much you can do I think.

I've been lucky and haven't swollen to much. Usually just at night. But I'm done working now so that should help. Yesterday was my last day! I try to keep my feet elevated when I'm sitting and I have water bottles glued to me at all times. I avoid foods with high sodium, but I never really cook with salt. But I think it's also genetic because my mom didn't swell either.
My problem is she has a body part, probably foot, jammed into my upper rib cage and it hurts. I can't sleep. I have an extremely short torso and long legs, so there's not a lot of room for her and she's in every corner of my body. It's so uncomfortable. One week from tomorrow!

37 weeks 2 days and felt nauseous yesterday and today. Poop wasn't solid this morning either (sorry for the tmi). Mild cramping. It's hard not reading into every little thing. Countdown to my c section is 13 days.
