Full moon has disappointed me  Still got this little munchkin in the belly…Looks like it might end up being an induction on Thursday.

im a little depressed today... have the doctors at 10 for reg appt. If i dnt go into labor by Tom night i have appt be be induced tom at 9pm...
Im So happy to know she will be here soon but sad bc i didnt want her to be forced to come...
Anyone Else feel like this?

At first, I was a bit terrified of getting induced, because some things I've read said it makes labor harder, but in the last few days, a bunch of people have told me they've gotten induced and it was totally fine, so that's made me feel better and I'm fine with it.
In my head, I just keep thinking - he must be so comfortable in there, he just needs a little nudge. And since I'm already dilated, literally it's just a little push to get him moving. And who knows, maybe at your appointment, they'll tell you that things have really progressed.

I think we are all feeling anxious about what is ahead and that is normal. As much as we all want our babies to arrive I am also trying to take in every minute of quiet peace in the house when I am just laying in bed with my hubby bc I know we won't have many more moments of that.
Also thinking how crazy it is that we have this child coming into the world that for the rest of our lives we will worry about and be responsible for. Obviously excited but anxious and nervous at the same time. Anyone else like this??
I also wish the supermoon brought upon some special powers :( oh well another day of waiting.

I was hoping supermoon was going to do something!!! Dr appt this morning and no progress since last time. She's comfy in there and not moving anywhere fast.
I'm trying to take it all in...the sleep I can get (although not the most comfortable)...going out to a nice dinner date with hubby tonight. Hopefully tomorrow this kid will start making her exit!!!

Yep, my little guy is comfortable in there too. I ended up in L/D on Saturday night, I thought my water broke but it didn't  . The midwife did an internal and said my cervix is softened and shortened but not dialated yet. Went for a long walk yesterday and had a dance party in the living room last night hoping it gets things moving along. OB appt on Wed.
Come on August babies!!!!!!

I felt and heard a pop that made me get up and go to the bathroom because I didn't want my water to break all over the livingroom carpet. The gush never happened but I noticed that I was very wet feeling down there, and everytime I went to wipe it was still wet. The midwife at the hospital said it was just a change in discharge and not my water that if your water breaks and it isn't the big gush remember to think about a leaky faucet something will always be dripping out.
ETA: I totally confused the midwife because I told her I did feel and hear a pop which she said is a good indicator that your water broke.

How's everyone doing?
I'm 3cm, 80% effaced, but baby's hanging tight. Yesterday, they estimated that he's around 9lbs, 3oz. Little chunkster  . Scheduled induction for late tomorrow night!

Went to the Ob at 4pm still not dilated but since a little before 11pm been having regular contractions. Hoping and praying this is it. I'm so ready to meet my little munchkin!!!
Contractions stopped around 4am, now they are back to being random

Aw man! I just came to wish you tons of luck and just saw your update! But at least you know things are happening! Once I started having random contractions that weren't regular, I started dilating as well. So that could just be it for you!!!

How late is everyone?
Officially one day late and over this! Getting anxious waiting and not wanting to go far from the house thinking it could be any minute.
Went to dr yesterday and the baby is comfy and not under any stress. I am not dilated at all so I go back on Monday (if I make it by then) to discuss when I will be induced. Lets hope it happens naturally before them. Ahh!

Welcome Maddyn Shea! Born 8/11 @ 8:07am- 8lbs 4oz- She is absolutely perfect! We came home yesterday and are all settling in as a family of 5 nicely!
