Re: *Official December 2012 Mommy To Be Thread*
techinically we aren't finding out tomorrow. We are having the tech write down the sex and seal it in an evelope. Im having a cake made (with the inside pink or blue) and having a gender reveal party 7/28 with all of our family. THAT is going to be a long week for us to wait, im anxious just thinking about it!

These gender posts are exciting! Our anatomy scan isn't until 7/30, and I'm literally counting down the seconds.

Re: *Official December 2012 Mommy To Be Thread*
We're registering this Saturday at Buy Buy Baby. Since we're not finding out the gender until 7/30, we're going to stick to the things we definitely want gender neutral, i.e. stroller, car seat, etc.
BTW, in case you guys don't know, if you want an employee to walk you through the store and help you when registering, you need to make an appt.

Re: *Official December 2012 Mommy To Be Thread*
We haven't registered yet either, waiting until we find out! Of course, DH is going OOT on business next Saturday, so we can't register next weekend and the weekend after that we'll be in NJ all weekend so we can't register then either, but it will happen eventually. It's silly that we haven't registered yet though, because we're going with a fairly gender neutral theme anyway, so it's not like I need to know to register, I just think it will make things easier.
I can't believe we're almost at the half way mark!

I have been dying to feel movement, but have not felt a thing. Every night I lay in bed real still hoping for some type of feeling. But so far, nothing! That is the thing I am really, really looking forward to.

at 1st it just felt like tickling sensation from inside, its hard to describe. I wouldnt feel it all the time either, only when i layed down on my back (usually at night before bed). It is definitely more pronounced now, it feels like a rolling sensation. Yesterday, was the first time my fiance & son could feel it by putting their hand on my belly. He described it as a 'vibration'

Just posted on the main board, but I think I felt the first "flutters" last night!! What a weird sensation - it actually freaked me out a little.

We're finding out the sex tomorrow and I'm so excited.
Also, I think I felt movement for the first time last night. My husband touched my stomach and then as soon as he removed his hand, I thought I felt an air popping feeling (if that makes sense). I had him do it two more times to test and the same thing happened each time, though only when he removed his hand, so he didn't get to feel anything.

Re: *Official December 2012 Mommy To Be Thread*
Just got back from out Level 2 & the baby looks perfect, measuring a little ahead at 19 weeks 6 days & 11 oz! They estimated the baby to be about 11 inches. We brought DS & he was thrilled to see his baby brother/sister. The gender is sealed in an envelope & on its way to my friend who is making the cake for ourr gender reveal party!
we also got some 3D sneak peaks!

Re: *Official December 2012 Mommy To Be Thread*
How fun to read about all of our different experiences!
The first time I felt movement I thought I was having an anxiety episode. It feels like rolling bubbles just above my pelvic bone. That was at 16 weeks. Now I will feel it at night, but not every night. Same thing, bubbles.
Last night I pressed my hand firmly against it and actually felt a kick! Like my gut twitched outward to my hand? It was so strange. Was NOT expecting that from the tiny little bugger since i am only 18 weeks. DH came over but it was just that once.
I just had a bit of chocolate and now 5 minutes later I feel the rumbling
Re: registering - we are waiting until 24 weeks. We are finding out the gender early in August, so I will wait a few more weeks unil we do anything. I feel like I don't know where to start! Please share any good items/ brands/ finds you come across!
