Its our first - I have lurked around and made couple of random posts but hoping to become more regular.

We had our 20 week Sono yesterday, and Its a BOY!! We are thrilled!
Aside from that news, the doctor was concerned because he saw some fluid around the heart. All the chambers were 'normal' kidneys, and all other organs were also 'normal'. We are going to stony brook on Tuesday for another sono, and second opinion. he said that sometimes its actually nothing, but that he would be doing us an injustice not sending us. Needless to say I will be having panic attacks until Tuesday!
Trying to focus on the news of a Boy! Will probably go to register this weekend!

Baby had a heart rate of 160 at our check up today. Baby measured 1 week ahead at our level II ultrasound and then today the Dr measured me to be 24 weeks instead of 22  she said either my orignal due date could be off or we are going to have a big boy on our hands (which is possible, DS #1 was over 8lbs and my FH is 6'7" and was a very big baby); we will see how it goes at our next appointments!
I recieved the glucose drink to have 45 minutes prior to the next appointment and recieved the hospital registration packet; I feel like things are going fast now! I cannot wait to meet

I have my level II today at 4pm, which i'm so excited, but also nervous about...
I have also started to feel lots of movement within the past week! What a great and exciting feeling!!

hope your levelII was great & yay for feeling movement; its the best! my little guy is getting so strong, my whole stomach jumped the other night from his kick - DS thought it was hysterical. So much fun

Feel like so much is going on.
I totally popped last week - no hiding this belly anymore!!!!
I started feeling movement about 2 weeks ago, and it is so much stronger this week. DH felt a kick last night!!!
And most of all, we had our sono today and everything looks great - team for us.
I am in total shock, I was convinced it was a boy. Need to wrap my head around this and start thinking pink - all the stuff I picked out mentally was for a boy.

Hi girls, just checking in! How is everyone doing? Where are you with your planning/preparation? How are you feeling?
I am feeling pretty good. I feel my little guy move like crazy some days and hardly at all on others, but I understand this is normal.
I have set up my registries and plan on finishing them up this week. Yesterday we began redoing the new guest room so we can empty out what will be the nursery. So much to do, but I am finally getting less nervous and more excited with the whole thing!!

Zippy, sounds like we had a similar weekend! We started organizing what will be the baby's room yesterday and did a bunch of other house organization projects that needed to be done before baby. My registry is pretty much done and we finished up the invite for our baby celebration party (essentially a couples shower, but we are calling it a celebration). So, we are definitely making progress, things are definitely exciting these days!
Hope everyone else is feeling and doing well!!

We have a registry at Buy Buy Baby, but I won't be having a baby shower, so don't expect too much stuff to move pre-birth.
We actually haven't been doing too much. We're moving in October, so am waiting until we have a new apt before we start buying/ordering stuff. However, we have been researching things so that we know what furniture to buy when we have a new address.

Hi December Momma's!! My DH just felt my little girl move for the first time this weekend! So amazing.. We registered at BBB & BRU but havent finished either registry yet! Im adding things little by little..
I was diagnosed with GD a couple weeks ago so Ive been focusing on my diet and keeping my #'s low.. other then that, feeling pretty good! I hit the 6 month mark on Sunday, yay!

Hi Everyone!!! I'm doing well. We started a small registry at Babies r us but going to go on Friday and do the majority at Buy Buy Baby. We had some issues with Babies R Us last week while ordering our furniture so we are trying to steer clear of that store from now on!
But anyways...my little boy is a non stop mover! I just can't wait for DH to feel him from the outside.

Things are good over here. I haven't really been able to feel the baby move much because I have an anterior placenta... bummer. We are just about finished with our registry at BRU, then just waiting for my shower in October to see what else we need! Follow up sono tonight to check fluid around the babys heart. They didnt seem too concerned last visit, so we are hoping for similar results. Just happy to see the little guy again!
