Hey girls.. I posted this on the main page but wanted to share what I'm going through:
Just wanted to share my scary experience I just went through. the past few days I started having no taste and on thurs my eyes were watering and itching all day. I thought I was having an allergic reaction. Then friday I woke up with no feeling on the right side of my face. My one eye wouldn't blink.. Nothing. So went to doc who sent me to ER and diagnosed me with Bell's palsy. Thank god it's only temporary but the whole right side of my face is paralyzed.
Then they are about to release me and my heartrate was elevated so they gave me an IV with fluids cuz said I was prob dehydrated. But after the IV my heartrate was still higher than they liked.. So this crazy doc is trying to tell me I might have a pulmonary embolism an they want to do a catscan. So then another doc came in and was like "your heartrate is fast cuz you are 7 months pregnant". And he disnt think I have any other symptoms so the catscan wasn't necessary.
My heartrate was like 5 over normal and I was there for 9 hours pissed off, upset and anxious. Of course it's gonna be high.
So it's been a rough few days dealing with this but luckily it's only temporary and the baby is fine!!

Omg I am soo sorry you had to go through that. I am  please make sure you rest as much as you can.

Just wanted to share some shower photos 
FMIL gave us a shower this past weekend for our family & friends in Mass., everyone had a great time and people were very generous. I cannot believe that our little boy will be here in 7 weeks!

How is everyone?
It's almost the month before our month!
Has anyone else noticed a little leaking from their nipples? It is just a tiny bit - not even enough to be concerned with a pad or anything but it seems kind of early - I will be 30 weeks tomorrow.
How was everyone's shower? I am having 2 over the next 2 weekends and I can't wait to play with the baby stuff!

I havent had any leaking... but they feel a bit more tender.
It's so weird that we are all so close to seeing our little bundles of joy! We are excited and anxious over here in our camp!
My shower is today @ 2 so - Im nervous for that...
How are the rest of our December mom to be?

Hi everyone! I had my surprise shower yesterday - it was really nice and everyone was so generous. I am feeling pretty good (a bit of constipation again though - sorry TMI!) and our latest project is now building a closet in the nursery. All the baby stuff in in our den right now! I have an ultrasound on Tuesday - really excited to see him again since it has been 12 weeks since the last one...
Hope you are all doing great!

Hey Everyone!!! Congrats on those who had their showers and on those who are coming up (or today, yay!!)
I started feeling very "pregnant" about 2 weeks ago with pressure and it has increased a bunch and very very uncomfortable. Its very hard for me to do anything, including just walking a few steps. Sleeping has been also very very difficult in the past week.
I am excited though that at least this will be over soon and I will meet my little guy! Can not believe it. Trying to not get too worked up over labor.. today is the 21st and my dd is dec 21 so woooohoooo!!!
cant wait to hear updates from everyone else!!!

Hey ladies! So nice to hear how everyone is doing! I've been ok... Sleeping has been a little rough for me but the worst is dealing with this Bell's palsy! It is the worst thing ever. It's been 2 weeks since I was diagnosed and I've been super depressed. I'm so anxious and excited for the arrival of our little boy but its been so had because I have not wanted to go anywhere or really see anyone because I'm so embarrassed of how I look and sound.
Just hoping I will be better for my shower on the 4th!
I've also started having these really crazy dreams lol.
Hope everyone else is doing well!

I have had leaking since 17 weeks! My dr said its completely normal at any time during pregnancy. Baby will be here in 44 days and it's definitely increasing

Had one of my showers on Saturday - it was so nice. Our family and friends were so generous.
Plus I get to have another shower next weekend in NJ - hopefully Sandy is done and out of here by then and everyone has power!
It was so fun to come home and organize all the cute baby things. I actually didn't receive too many clothes, so there are some things I will need to buy, but I love shopping for that stuff, so no problem with me!
I hope everyone is feeling good and staying safe with this storm.

Hey Ladies,
Just wanted to check in to see how you all made it through the hurricane.
We really lucked out with no damange and didn't even lose power (I live on Eastern long island).
My shower is scheduled for this Sunday and was worried we might have to postpone, but my mom just called the restaurant and they never lost power so it looks like it's on!
Hope you all are ok!

Hi Ladies,
Hope you're all doing well. We are still without power in West Babylon, but luckily my folks in Medford never lost it, so we've moved in with them until the power returns. We had our shower a few weeks ago and got a ton of great stuff. Since I'm stuck at home (well, my Mom's home) and can't get to work, we're going to do all the laundry today. Might as well, got nothing else going on! We were setting up the nursery when we lost power on Monday, but we still made great progress and it's almost done! I'll try to post some shower/nursery pics soon. Hope everyone is feeling well and made it through the storm safely!

Hope everyone is good. We lost power at 2pm on Sunday. It's been pretty trying the last few days. I am lucky to still have a home and hate to complain. Stinks being this pregnant and having no power. I have no work because of no phones/internet. Husband thankfully is working, but when he is out I can't run generator stinks.Hope everyone is OK.

I can't stop shopping with all of these black friday deals. I think I own the entire carters store, lol.
She better not be late because I know I will spend all my time online shopping.....
Question for you ladies - are you stocking up on some diapers? How many and what size are you getting?

Yea dh has been buying diapers for months lol. We have a few packs of nb but we bought like 2 huge cases from bj's of stage 2 and 3. We pretty much bought some whenever we had a coupon lol

No, I was told by some not to stock up on too much diapers because you might want a certain/different brand for the baby, and also you don't know how long they will be in a certain size. I have a pack of newborn and a pack of size 1 pampers ones and if those go well we will stick with it and go buy more

I have a normal sized box of newborn and size 1, but we are gonna try to go the cloth diaper route, so we have those too. I think we are probably crazy.

Just got back from my OB, and baby is dropping / i'm more dialated. still have the mucus plug, but hoping this baby comes a week or so early. i'm done with being a preggo!

exciting news! i'm hoping to have some progress when i go on wednesday. at my apt last wed, the dr talked to me about how i should anticipate a christmas baby, which would put me almost 2 weeks late!  i really hope that doesn't happen!
