i had my strep B last week, and my first internal...
I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced...although I know that doesn't mean anything as far as an indication of going early or not...
yesterday I had my 37 week appt, and a growth sono...no internal.
baby's head is WAYY down, and baby is measuring already at 7lbs 12oz...I'm hoping the measurement is off, because I still have 2.5 weeks til due date!
either that, or that I go early before they baby gets too ginormous!! The tech still says baby will not reach 10 lbs, but if I go full term, I feel like it will be close!!!
I'm just soooooooooo anxious, and sooooooooo ready to be done!!!!!! I want to meet this baby, I want to be done walking all over the school feeling like a watermelon is going to fall through my hooha (lol) and I want to know  or  !!!!
hoping by next weekend I'll go early LOL (I'm eating spicy foods, taking the stairs alot and walking alot, and I'm thinking after this weekend DH and I will up the  frequency!!)

My strep b came back ok- all clear.
Dropped off my urine jug and had blood work done today to check for preeclampsia.
I can't believe no matter what I am 15 days away!

I am 1 1/2 cm and this little girl needs to stop pushing her butt into my belly bottom lol. Cannot believe I have under 13 days remaining it's crazy.

Forgot to mention had my 37 wk check up on Wednesday and baby is 6 lbs. 8 ozs. My strep B was negative and I lost a pound too. Bringing weight to 21 lbs now.

Holy crap!
I'm being induced on the 1st. 
DD's bday is 2/3... Hopefully I can come home on her birthday.
I know I haven't posted much, but with 1 DC already-- just haven't had the time.

omg I am right there with you!!!!!
I am 38 weeks tomorrow also, and I can't even deal with the 2 weeks that are left...let alone the HORRID idea of going late!!!!!!!!!
I really am starting to do anything and everything that people say "brings on labor" starting tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't take how uncomfortable I am anymore, and working makes it 100x worse...each work week that starts I feel is soooooooooo much worse than the last!

It is funny- a month or 2 back, I said I wanted to work as long as possible. Now I laugh at that statement, and although I need to work as long as I can- I am ready to give up and take a break!!
I wonder if I am going to make it these next 2 weeks!

OK! I heard back late this afternoon and I do not have preeclampsia!! 
Looks like for now I am still having my scheduled c/s for 2/6 unless this baby tries to make an early exit!

Well ladies... i am a january mommy!
There isn't much to the story. Started with contractions at 4:45am today, got to the hospital at 8am and was 6cm's. Asked for the epidural and right after it i was checked again and i was 9 cm's and they said ready to push. I don't even think the epi kicked in yet.
3 minutes of pushing and my team  turned into team !!!!!
Dylan Nicholas. Born 9:01am. So 4 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish.

Kim: glad no preeclampsia
I just had my 37 wk appt. fingertip dilated, 50% effaced, and still very high.. Basically still going to be a while! Oh and GBS negative.

While at my weekly appointment today, I was told I needed to go to Labor & Delivery for monitoring. After last week being monitored for preeclampsia (and the results came back that I was fine). I had high blood pressure and swelling today they felt it was necessary and there was a likely hood of baby being delivered.
I went to Stony Brook for the afternoon and was hooked up to monitors, checked to see if I was dilated, had a sonogram and had blood and urine samples taken. I was there for about 4 hours and then released. I was not dilated and sono showed no distress.
The dr's decided to send me home and keep my scheduled c/s date and just put me on rest (out of work) now.
I was excited for the idea of Baby G coming and making sure we were both safe. So now that I am home I am relaxing and taking the next 10 days easy.
I was really happy with the way my office and Stony Brook handled my care.

So glad you and baby are doing well, Kim. Try and relax a bit and enjoy your time off from work!
I had my 38w appt today (37w6d) and there is nothing going on No effacement or dilation grrrrrrr. Oh well, 9 more days until the C!
I must say, these last days are brutal. I am waking every hour, feel like I got run over by a truck and am so uncomfortable!! Vent over.

had my 38 weeks appt today...
and im just very impatient and in a bad mood LOL
I hate going there just to get a doppler, have my stomach felt, weighed to see "WOW YOU'RE EVEN FATTER THIS WEEK" and then sent home LOL
I would have rather saved my time and waited til next week when I'll have an internal...at least then I'll know something...
I was basically told everythings good, we're both healthy, and all my symptoms are normal annoyances, just to hang in there...NOT COMFORTING, i'm sorry...
I'd rather know how dilated/effaced I am, etc...and now I have to wait another week to find out...
hoping I give birth before then!
glad we're both doing well, but impatient and pissy so I'm venting lol

I love how annoyed we are all getting. LOL true sign of being at the end.
I had an internal today and it was NOT fun. LOL I am still sore and lightly spotting.
