When do you all plan on telling your immediate families (like parents...siblings..etc?) Did you tell right when you got your BFP..or are you waiting?
DH doesn't want to tell them until our first appointment in 3 weeks. It is so hard keeping this from my mom who I am very close with.
This is really going to be the longest 3 weeks ever!!!!
We were planning on waiting till our first OB appointment, but I couldn't keep it from my mom any longer. We caved and told my parents when I was 5 1/2 weeks and told DH's parents on mother's Day (i was 6 weeks).
We just told his sister last night (I'm 7 1/2 weeks), and we will tell my siblings and the rest of our immediate fam on Friday (after my first appointment at 8 weeks).
The rest of the world will know after 12 weeks.

We found out at 4 weeks and told my sister & DH's sister that same weekend. He told his Dad a few days later; and I waited and told my parents on Mothers Day (a few days after that).
I told my best friend at 6 weeks; and DH slipped and told another friend the day after that! I wanted to hold out on telling anyone else until our 1st appointment at 8 weeks 3 days. But i went to do doctor Monday (6 weeks 3 days for spotting) and got to see the heartbeat so that was a little more calming to me. I'm meeting a good friend this weekend to see What to Expect... I might tell her then since she knows we've been trying and will most likely ask. I fiugred with the movie and all it would be a good time to tell her.
I have lunch with my newly pregnant cousin next week and might spill the beans to her since we'll have so much to talk about. Other family will be after our doctors appointment; and the rest of the world after 12 weeks LOL!

Add me also. Just went for a sono Monday and I was 6w1d. Due date is 1/13!! This is our second, DS is 10 months. So we will have 2 under 2!!!

We will most likely tell my mom and sister after my first appt next week. We will probably wait a few more weeks to tell DH's mom though bc even if we tell her not to tell anyone she will prob slip lol
We will tell everyone else at 12 weeks.

Anyone else extremely bloated? My belly just feels SO tight in my pants. I'm 7 weeks tomorrow; and it's just getting uncomfortable!
I'm also constipated so not going isn't helping the situation!
I read on another post about someones doctor giving them something high in fiber to help them go to help with the bloating...i don't see my doctor for 2 weeks so i guess I just have to deal with it?
I might have to go buy a bellyband just to get into my slimmer pants!

I am only 4 weeks..so I don't feel much of anything...except sore boobs. I did feel really bloated this weekend...but I don't feel as bloated now. Who knows what the next few weeks will bring!

ok thanks!! I'm gonna check Target/Babies R Us/Motherhood Maternity & Buy Buy Baby tonight for one! I'll see if I can compare prices/styles online to save me the hassle of going to all the stores.

I'm only 5w2d and crazy bloated! Idk if it's cause I'm only 8 months pp and my body wasn't back to normal or if it's the progesterone i'm on. I feel like it's already rounded...yikes!

Hate that dh is in California for the BFP but no big deal .... Told my mom and dad right away ... Will tell in laws as soon as dh gets home and siblings by the end of the week that's all for now til I see my doc.

It's killing me not telling my parents!  I hope these next 2 weeks just fly by!!! However my best friend already figured it out.....her family threw her a 30th birthday party yesterday at a place with an open bar...and even though I said I was designated driver and that's why I wasn't drinking she didn't buy it. Even when designated I would have had 1 drink or 1 shot or something. So the cat is out of the bag with her and her sister who noticed. lol

I did! I ordered seltzer n cranberry with lime wedges. But everyone took a shot and I passed. And she knows me too well to pass on a celebratory shot. Lol

hahaha, i got caught with that one the first time around  it was labor day 2009 and I was 6 weeks pregnant. everyone knew
