Still here have made too many trips to l&d for contractions. I'm 38w3days and completely and totally over it. I'm in so much pain I cry most of the day from the discomfort. No position is comfy except laying and that's virtually impossible with a 2 yr old. My dh is out of the house 16 hrs 6 days a week. It's very stressful. I'm scheduled for a c section on Thursday but honestly.I don't know if I'm to make it physically or emotionally. I'm also having terrible horrible anxiety over the section after my first horror of one with dd. I wish I could have a valium prior. I'm not doing so good this last week.

I am right there with you! I made a few trips and have felt like an idiot for going once they said nothing was going on But how do I know?

I am very uncomfy too!! I started an hourly countdown and that has helped my sanity as silly as it seems!

I am scheduled for Wed. Let's promise to catch up in a week and look back and say "phewww, it's OVER!"

Thanks. I know I feel so stupid. I've been having terrible pain pressure very low in my pelvis. I never went into labor with my daughter I never dilated so I don't know what im feeling so I feel like i call anytime i cant take the discomfort anymore. But honestly right now its so bad i should prob call but I can't bring myself to call because I dobt want to get poked and prodded with an iv just to be sent home with no baby again and told to wait 4 days. Yes please let's catch up before Halloween and say its over thank god!

My groin muscles hurt so bad. I feel like I have been riding a horse for a week. I am on my 3rd, and never felt this before. The low pelvic & leg pain is so weird.

Make sure you keep hydrated. That can help fend off the fake labor pains.

Wishing the rest of the October ladies lots of luck and speedy recoveries. I cant believe we made it this far.
Funny thing, I complained the whole time that I couldnt pee and the baby was on my bladder, groin pain blah, blah blah.... When she came out, you would have thought my water broke. What it feels like to pee again!!!!

Had 39 week appt yesterday at 38wk 5 days...was 1cm and 70% effaced...next appt is monday if I make it till then-will have a sono and non-stress test. This is my 2nd and I feel so much more nervous and unprepared than the 1st time around!

So I ended up at the hosp. Was contracting they sent me home. I followed up at the Dr. And low and behold was in labor.. I had my little girl at 8:56pm on 10/17

I had my October 21st baby on October 17!

Matthew Paul was born at 12:20pm! Never expected labor to move so quickly or even early!! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

My is here!! Travis David born 10/19 at 8:27am weighing 8lb, 12oz, 21". Big boy!

Yay congrats everyone so far!!!
My due date is tomorrow, had appt yesterday & was 1/2 cm dilated- which is the same as last week.
Doctor said she would induce me Monday if i wanted, I just don't know what to do. She didn't have a very strong opinion one way or the other.
Advantages to induction
I know I would have my doctor
Don't have to worry about being home alone & far from hospital when I go into labor
I can stop worrying everytime i don't feel the baby move fir 20 minutes!
Parents are coming to town tue & I think it would be nice for the baby to be here before then

Only big disadvantage is the slightly higher c section risk & that it could be more painful then natural contractions.

What do u girls think?

Still here! Scheduled for Tuesday th 25th, but had a sono yesterday because the baby is big and fluid level was high.

Fluid level still a bit high, baby still big....See Dr tonight for my last appointment and we'll see if he wants to wait until Tuesday or take baby early....

How are you October girls doing? My countdown says 3 days 3 hours. My back hurts. That's all I have to report.
