I haven't had an internal. Not sure if my doctor does them. At 36 weeks I had the group B strep test and a growth sono. I;m going Sat. morning, but the dr won't be there so no idea what I'm doing, and then going again Tuesday night. Hopefully I'll get some update on progress, but regardless I guess he is coming by 10/12.
Nursery is painted, furniture will be assembled this weekend. Clothes are washed. I have a few meals in the freezer, but I need to deep clean my house and then I'll feel better. I think I'm taking off tomorrow, just to clean and relax. I was very sick last night, very, and need to recover still.

Anyone else walking around thinking "Is it going to happen today?"...LOL I keep thinking my waters going to break and BAM I will be in the hospital for days. If only I had a crystal ball...
I cant believe I am in the 2 week waiting period.
Baby is still so painfully low. Other then that, I feel great!

haha yes i keep thinking "is today the day" but realistically even despite the progress and tons of contractions (and feeling like poo)... it's still my first DC and I doubt i'm going to go this early (36w3d today).
anyone else's baby ridiculously active? i almost called the doctor today because i actually got worried - the baby was moving around SO much for a period of about 20 minutes, 2 of my co-workers noticed!!! they were like "um is that normal?? what is going on in there??" thankfully it subsided but i have a feeling the end result was baby went from facing the rear to sunny side up. i feel limbs near my belly button as opposed to a nice smooth back (as i found out it was based on the sono 2 days ago).

Went to OB this morning, but saw nurse and sono tech only.  is measuring at 7 lbs 8 oz  w/ about two weeks to go. She said internals start at 38 weeks, so I guess I'll get one this week or maybe next (when I go Tuesday it will be 1 day before 38 weeks.) All seems to be going good. My parents are up this weekend helping us get the room together, I'll post pics soon. Oh, and I get sonos every week now due to the GD, but the tech said no pictures this week b/c he was facing backwards. That's what I want right, him to be facing my back?
ETA: Even though he seems to be huge, his growth is slowing down since he went from 77th percantile, to 76th to now 72nd.

Well, I wound up in the hospital last night after a day of being uncomfy from low pressure. Something in my head was telling me to get it checked, and I am so glad I did! Turns put I was having contractions every 2-3 minutes. I got an IV to rehydrate and some meds to stop my contractions. So, now I am home on rest and no more work. Having two kids at home, this is not going to be easy!! Doc wants me to get to 38w and I am 35w2d today.

I keep thinking there is no way I am going to make it until the 18th. I feel more pressure than I did previously, I'm on my feet a lot more than I ever was. I had my first internal last week (36 weeks) and will get one every week now-super! I was 1 cm dilated so maybe there will be more progress. I've done nothing to prepare though so I should probably get moving

Oh my, take it easy. I know that is hard, I can't take it easy and I have no other children. But please try to rest, almost there!!!

Had a sono tonight to see how big the baby was...baby is measuring 7lb 14oz, give or take of course! Doc said that amniotic fluid is slightly high. so they did a non stress test and everything was fine. still not dialated, but baby is head down/face down. so hoping something happens soon!

Tomorrow is my day! I go in for my scheduled c-section. We went today (10/3) for my last bio-physical and nst and he's estimated to weigh 9lbs 9 ozs
Can't wait to meet my not so little guy!

For those of us left... how's everyone doing?
I felt like crap yesterday morning and then had a complete meltdown, like hysterically crying. Luckily DH was off yesterday and somehow had the brilliant idea to promptly take me to petco to look at the kittens.  It might have been his best idea ever. Totally calmed me down, although I did want to put them all under my shirt and walk out (really though, who would have noticed at this point).
We then came home, whereupon I vaccuumed and mopped the rest of the hardwood floors, windexed the windows (inside only) and every mirror I could find, reorganized the top of the bedroom closet, did about 50 loads of laundry, put away baby clothes, cooked 3 separate meals, and a bunch of other odds and ends.
Woke up during the middle of the night with some serious pressure in my groin area, kind of feels like I did a whole lot of splits or something.
Contractions still not timeable.
Clock is ticking...

Still here!
Woke up not feeling great on Thurs, had some contractions and had a bad headache. Wound up going to the doc to get checked and when they hooked me up, I had no contractions and my BP was fine, so they sent me home.
Had a bad night last night with the kids and totally broke down  DS (3yo) was not behaving and kept running from me. I tried to chase him, but I stopped in my tracks and broke down and cried. I am frustrated that I can't control him verbally or physically. But I also feel bad because I can't do much with the kids right now, they were cooped up all day 
At least I am down to 4 days to go! I am looking forward to my family coming into town for my C/S Wednesday

Still here! One more week until my due date and working until the bitter end! No contractions, some pressure in the middle of the night, but that's about it!
I have another doctors appointment Monday evening. Hopefully something will start happening soon!

I'm still here!
Feeling pressure, contractions about every hr or so, but thats it. Can't say I feel terrible, cause I really don't. I think I'm in shock that I'm having my 3rd child on monday I'm finally done having kids, its crazy!
My last appt doc said I was completely thin, 2cm dilated, he could feel her head and the induction should go perfectly

Still Here!
Had my check up Thursday and Dr said baby is measuring big and my fluid levels are a bit high. Having a repeat sono on Tuesday and they'll determine if they need to take baby earlier than the scheduled c-section date of next Tuesday the 25th!
Did the BRU/Target thing yesterday with gift cards from my sprinkle, so we're just about set!!
I've been feeling okay - my carpal tunnel is awful, my hands are both numb most of the time and my feet are really swollen, but otherwise I'm doing okay. Baby seems to have dropped in the last 2 days though!!
