BIL just sent a text to tell us that MIL got power back - Bretton Woods in Coram - Mooney Pond and N. Ocean area. Not sure when but probably just recently. No power a few blocks away from there at DH's office yet. MIL was on a list for health related priorities so that might have helped get it up sooner.

We never lost power in Farmingdale but my parents are in Lindenhurst and got power back around 3-4pm on Tuesday but I know there are A LOT of people in Lindenhurst who are still without.
In lindenhurst also no power but my neighbor to the side across the street from me (I'm on a corner property) has power along with the other people down the block.
I'm never going to get power back till the town of Babylon gets thier asss over here and cut down the tree that feel down behind me and know down a ton of poles. LIPA was in my area quite a bit and they couldn't do anything cause of the tree.
I am annoyed and I'm trying not to be. I saw town of babylon truck that's made for cutting huge trees look at the tree and drove away.

The problem is that the town has to be there with LIPA at the exact same time. The town will not touch our tree laying on the power lines, they were here today and told us. LIPA didn't even tell us ths when we called to report the incident.

Wantagh power back 5am wednesday
Where in Wantagh? We are in north wantagh right off Seaford oyster bay & still out. I'm desperate, might make a 7 hr trip to my parents bc its cold in here & I lost over $2k in freezer food.
My Dad is in Wantagh right by the Southern State and he is still out.

We r in Baldwin north of sunrise staying with my parents who got their power back on at 1230 this afternoon. Our complex around the corner wont be on for 7 14 days. There are trees down and a transformer fell off side of neighbors house pulling a powerline down into our yard. I called LIPA today to let them know what's going on. I know it is going to take time since the tree took down a huge powerline.

Massapequa Park..got ours back around 2:00 pm wednesday.
Would you mind letting me know where in Massapequa Park power was restored? My parents are housing a ton of family and their animals and can't take much more. I'd love to tell them there's hope if you're near them. FM if you'd prefer. Thanks!

Parts of it did. DH's aunt got it back yesterday. She is just east of East Meadow Rd south of Prospect.

Parts of E. Northport were restored last night about 7-8pm.
Which means if ANYONE is in the area & needs internet, cell phone charging, they should FM me. If you're worried about bothering us, we have outdoor plugs you can plug into & I can give my wifi password to you.

east Meadow ... back Tuesday night - after 23 hours.. although found out while trick or treating that some houses on our block still don't have it.
relatives in Malverne didn't lose it, and offered us to come over if it needed - was so glad since we have a newborn.

My parents are in Nesconset near Smithaven Mall.......they were back up around 9pm Wednesday night. I am in Stony Brook, still without power.
