Oh boy, how did I forget to update on my haunted school????Attic Update pg 2.

Sheesh, I can't believe I forgot this! Ok, so I've been totally intrigued by that EVP we got last week on my digital recorder. (for those who don't know, EVPs are when you use a recorder, preferably digital, and ask questions, etc. and when you play it back, you hear sounds or voices that weren't there when you recorded it)
Anyway, so my friend and I went into the women's bathroom last week because the door kept locking itself over and over and over again that day and we tried like hell to make it happen, but to no avail and no children are allowed in there, so it's not like they were doing it. Anyway, so we asked a series of questions, and when we played it back, we got an answer to one of them! I fricking kid you not. I asked, "Are you upset about all the people in the building" and in a whispery voice, when we played it back, we heard, "Nooo." It wasn't either of us and everyone I've played it for, who had no idea what they were listening to heard it.
So, of course, today, we decided to go to another location in the building where the door is always opening and shutting itself and ask some more questions. I was talking to my two friends say, "I don't feel like there's anything going on in this room," and when we played it back, right after I said that, you hear a woman humming and singing for a couple of seconds. There was NO ONE around that could have been doing that And it was dead quiet in there, so have no effing clue what else it could be! It's just so strange because when I think about it, it starts to creep me out, but when I listened to it, I didn't get scared at all. My friend is going in early tomorrow morning before anyone else gets to school to get some stuff done, and she's going to take the recorder into the attic where we heard weird noises coming from. She's crazy if you ask me!

OK, silly question- is there an unspoken rule of like noone staying late in the buliding alone ?

I seriously would not be there alone after dark, that's for sure.

Anna, no one feels threatened and tons of people stick around. It's weird because I think that if I discovered there was a ghost in my house, I'd shite my pants everyday, but at work, it just doesn't seem like it's scary. I mean, I don't like being there crazy late at night, but in the evening, eh, what can you do?

I don't know if I ever told you but I worked in a bar that was haunted. It had been an old warehouse & apparently there was a fire in it & a bunch of people got trapped & killed. Every once and a while the lights would tweak out & the doors would open & close by themselves. One day there was a fire in the kitchen (just on the griddle) but the cook was not in yet & the burners were all off! I hated closing that place by myself at 5am It was evil.

Thanks for the updates! I can't believe that you're hearing these things on the recorder.

You should totally bring a video camera and see if you get any images on it.

Is there a way you can post a link to hear the audio tapes? I would LOOOOOOVVVEEE to hear these eerie whispers. Too cool.
