Oh goodness, what a day. Hopefully you are at the hospital now gettign some answers. It does sound like they are doing everythign they need to for him. So I will send some in your direction.

Hi Everyone -- thank you so much for your prayers, thoughts and FMs.
I was able to get up to the hospital tonight to see him since my Mom came over to watch Emily.
He looked a mess. It's crazy how skinny someone can look in a hospital gown and in that hospital bed. He is still on the respirator -- at a 50% Oxygen level -- which I learned doesn't mean that he only has 50% oxygen in his blood but that they are giving him oxygen at a 50% level --- if that makes any sense.
He is tied down due to the thrashing -- since he already ripped out all of his lines once this afternoon. The nurse said that he is keeping them busy! They gave him sedation meds when I was there but he was still thrashing around like crazy. It was hard because I couldn't even hold his hand or anything. I tried to rub his foot and he started kicking his legs all over.
They are going to do the CAT scan of his chest tomorrow to rule out anything else --- and I will be going up there tomorrow since my niece is coming here to watch Emily in the late morning early afternoon -- so I'll keep you posted on everything!
