Oil question for those that do COD
With the concern of the price of oil increasing so much is anyone thinking of locking in with someone? I've been calling around for prices of COD and locking in but I'm really not sure what to do.
Also, if you are going to continue COD who do you use for a service contract?
Thanks!

Re: Oil question for those that do COD
Well, Slomin's is coming to our house tonight. They quoted us $2.699 and $99 for the service contract. COD places today quoted us prices of $2.519 and tune up/cleaning for the boiler was anywhere from $90-$135. Guess it's a gamble either way.

Re: Oil question for those that do COD
I'm sticking with COD - we use General Oil and have been very pleased with their prices & service.

Re: Oil question for those that do COD
I am sticking with COD bc we have always made out a lot better in terms of pricing. In regards to a service contract, we don't have one but know a plumber that services for us.
This will be the last year with the boiler we have as we want to replace it in the spring
