Oil rates now?
Who has the best oil rates now? I'm in Suffolk. We just got a new tank that's why I need oil now.

I called around last week and got quotes at $3.69, $3.79 and $3.89/gal depending on what level contract we were interested in.

Oil rates now?
Petro sent me something yesterday with a price of $3.19 plus a free programmable thermostat and a $100 credit on the first delivery.

I got that, too. The $3.19 is only on the first 150 gallons of your first delivery, which must be within 2 weeks of signing your contract. Then you would pay the prices I mentioned above, unless rates changed from last week, which I don't think they did.

I just signed a 1-year contract with Slomins for $3.39/gal fixed for a year but I also got my home alarm through them so not sure if it would have been higher. Meenan offered us $3.53 a gallon I think so still better than your quote if you want to call them. We signed up 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Good to know, thanks! We're using Slomin's for our alarm, but they still quoted me higher than what you got. We don't need oil until November, so we're holding out for a better deal, for now.
