Oil to Gas conversion

Hi everyone. We are looking to do our oil to gas conversion and wanted to see if you would recommend anyone you have used in the past and also the cost ran. It seems like there is gas in the house (fireplace) but the heater is operating through oil tank. Thanks for all your input.

Update Question : Quick question, when one does the oil to gas conversion does that mean that they use gas to heat the water and the means of heating are steam (i.e. using current vents) or do they open new vents and have a forced hot air generated from gas? Trying to understand what the type of work entails in terms of opening holes in the walls and takign down current heating grills on the wall, sheetrock etc. Thanks so much again!

We used Burner King (LIF recommendation) and were very happy with their service. We converted about 3 years ago and the cost was about $6,000 (maybe a little more, don't remember exactly)

we're doing it now...Sal Manzo plumbing (got a rec from here). He was more expensive than burner king and 02g, but he offered more, took his time to explain everything and is giving us a different unit w/a water filtration system. My husband and I both liked the way he handled himself and had a good feeling with him. He answered all of my questions (called him 4x to compare his quote with others and what we were getting for the money).

His guys work clean and are respectful.

:)

Re: Oil to Gas conversion

Burner King never returned my call.

If you used Sal Manzo, would you mind sharing your cost through here or FM?
