Oil to gas conversion company
After receiving yet another ridiculous oil bill  I'd like to start getting estimates for oil to gas conversions and need some recommendations.
Universal gave me a $10K quote, which seemed high. There is already a gas line two houses away from me. Located in Nassau. TIA!

Well, first you have to get gas to the house, we used National Grid for that. If the gas is more than 100 feet you have to pay unless you can convince your neighbors to convert too. For the house conversion we used Burner King. My dad is a heating contractor (only works on big buildings though) and he was really happy with their work. If he was happy, then they were good! My dad is using them for his new house and DH & I will be using them on our next house too. I believe we paid $5,000 for the conversion, but since gas was on the block, we paid nothing to National Grid. Hoping the same is true for our new house! GL!
