Ok so I was just reading about the days you are most fertile....

And it said the days leading up to o are way more important and that it is very unlikely to conceive the day after o! So how come deannas plan tells you to bd for 3 consecutive days after? I only looked this up to calm myself down because I most likely o'd on fri and we only bd very late fri early an sat! ofcourse I am over thinking everything damn 2ww!!!!!!

i think she tells you to BD after O because its possible that you O later than you think. Sometimes your body gears up to O but doesnt so then it will try again. BDing will make sure you cover your bases.

i read about that too! i think there are just so many theories out there, but really no one can know for sure what days are best to since every single person is different.

that doesn't mean i dont try to follow those plans lol.

i would every other day just to cover all bases. If you use an OPK then i would the day you get a positive reading and the day after

Just because you get a smiley on an opk doesn't mean you are ovulating right then and there. It could be up to 36 or so hours later.... sometimes even more than that. So you are when you get the smiley because that should be before you o, during o, and after o.

Then you every other day BEFORE a smiley is ever in the picture, starting on CD10 to cover the beforehand.

So all in all Deanna's Plan covers ALL bases, before O, When you are about to O, During O, and after O.

Yes, you can O 36 hours after the , but you can also O that day. The average is 12 hours later. I would prior to the smiley, estimate when you think you will get it. I think that is more important, than 2 days after .
