so glad you started this!
my goal is to lose a good amount by December 1st when i go back to work. i don't want to return to work with the extra weight. i was a house while pregnant and got a lot of rude comments!
gained 50lbs
have lost 35
still have 20 to go!Chat Icon
also have the goal of running a 4 mile race on Thanksgiving.
started running and am up to 2 solid miles now.
going to add in 30 day shred too.

I have pre-partum and post-partum weight to lose. Chat Icon My husband and I have been bike riding everyday. Since his heart attack, it has become a priority for both of us to get in shape.

i think this thread is a wonderful thing, it always helps when you know there are other people feeling the same way. I am a true believer that time is a big factor when loosing baby weight. i know for myself even though i exercise regularly, i just felt like it was taking forever and the weeks you dont see any difference can be very discouraging. my last 2 boys were 19 months apart (the youngest just turned 7 months) im down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but still want to loose 10 more pounds to be at my goal weight. im in!! i need to lose 50lbs this is just 5lbs of pregnancy wt, the rest is i gained wt before i had the baby, i was depressed when i lost the baby last year at 5 months, so i have been totally out of control. i would like to be thinner by my 30th bday. I gained ALOT when i was pregnant (55 lbsChat Icon ).. i have lost 45 to this day (13 weeks PP) and still have 10 lbs more to go. But honestly, I watch what I eat most of the time, but not strictly at all and the only exercise i have been doing is walking....so I need to try harder.
Its my belly that I cant stand...dont kow what to do about it!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

My newest goal is to lose 30lbs by my DD's birthday party on January 9th...

Was supposed to start a Zumba class tonight and pinched a nerve in my back (I think) and can barely move today Chat Icon

I'm on Jenny Craig right now, but my weight is at a stand still and I'm becoming unmotivated because of it ( I lost a ton on it PP after my DS)

Lets motivate eachother !!

I could definitely use a thread like this!

I was 125 pounds and a size 4 when I got pregnant. I gained 70lbs Chat Icon during pregnancy, putting me at 195. Right now I'm back down to 145 pounds and in a size 8. So I've lost 50 pounds, I'm making some progress, but still pretty far from getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight. The first 30 pounds or so just fell right off in the first few weeks after DD was born. The last 20 that I've lost came off over time just by changing my eating habits. But I've been hovering around 145 for a few weeks now. I need to start working in some exercise I'm sure. I'm just so tired all the time with work and taking care of DD. I need to get my butt in gear because I absolutely hate looking at myself in the mirror like this. I don't feel good about myself. My body is just so different in so many ways! Chat Icon

ETA: DD will be 4 months old on October 5th.

Im glad you ladies are loving this! I told my husband and he pushed me this morning to go to the gym with him. I went... It was pretty tough being taht i havent worked out in over a year! But i fifnished a good workout. He also got me a trainer which I hope will help!

Today i ate yogurt and a sald with girlled chicken. Not sure whats for dinner yet, but something healthy.

I am 24 years old and I gained 50 lbs with DS. I was 15 lbs overweighht when I got PG and I have only lost 25 so far. So I really have about 40 lbs to lose to be at an ideal/ok weight. I would like to lose 50 lbs and then I would be happy!

Well lets all update how we are doing ... Good Luck to all and just remind yourself, that you want to be healty and active for yourself, but also for your DC!!! Thats what I think will help me !!

I was overweight to begin with, didn't gain anything during pregnancy until 26 weeks and put on 22 pounds!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I lost almost all of it a week after I came home, dropped all of the pregnancy weight then put on 6 pounds. I just started doing my Power 90 again and I've been eating good but I screwed up yesterday and I think I gained a pound!! (went to price club, had a few samples haha, then ate chinese food and while it was "healthy" the brown sauce is loaded with sodium, then ended the night with a slice of pumpkin pie, eep)

I wanna lose around 50 pounds but I'll be happy with losing 40. we should do like a mommy get together and work out with the babies

A bowl of cereal for breakfast and one slice of whole wheat toast with PB and a glass of milk for lunch.

I am such a ridiculously picky eater that it's hard for me to modify my diet and what I eat all that much. Right now my goal is to lower my portions by ALOT- to relearn to know when I am satisfied like I used to be able to do so my appetite is smaller. I also need to start exercising more.

I am in E. Islip as well.

I need to get back in the groove now that I sit at a desk all day. I promised myself that I would get back to my wedding weight(or at least within 4-5 pds) once I was done having kids and I reached that goal but am slipping again.
OH, as I type this I am eating candy corn.

My routine before going back to work-
Gym- 4 days a week- ellipitical for 45 minutes- 10 minutes abs and alternating arms/back weight lifting and legs(squats and lunges). I also took a weight-lifting type class (body pump) once a week.

Now my routine is much lessChat Icon I go to the gym only 3 days a week(less if DS or DD get sick- even a cold I will keep them out of the gym day care so I don't get others sick). I still do 45 minutes of cardio but I no longer have time for my weight lifting class and my workout can only last an hour since that is all the time I have.

Eating- honestly, I was BF so I really didn't worry about it. Now that I stopped, I have been trying to be more conscious of what I eat.

Thank you so much for posting this. I am hoping as well that this will get me motivated. I gained 50lbs with my twin dd's. I have lost 25lbs my first 2 wks home and haven't lost anything since (I am 4 mths PP). I also gained 20lbs after married before pregnancy. I would like to lose 40-45lbs to get back to my wedding day weight. I am extremely frustrated that nothing fits however I still sit on the couch and eat 4 100 calorie packs as a snack (after each meal!!!) I recently bought 2 dvds and some healthy cookbooks but keep making excuses. I think I need to realize that my life has changed now having two dd's and that I need to make time for myself and if that is at 5 am so be it!

this is really not enough food for lunch. you need to have either the full sandwich maybe find a way to put fruit with it, or do something else! i dunno if you watch the biggest loser but when they don't eat enough, their bodies shut down and don't lose the weight

I'm just about 7 months PP and still have 16lbs to lose. It was 20lbs but, I have been on weight watchers for 3 weeks and have lost 4lbs so far. I gained 40lbs while pregnant and lost 20lbs right away. The remaining 20lbs just didn't want to come off. It didn't help that I wasn't going to the gym or eating that good.
This is the heaviest I have ever been. I'm so disgusted with myself. That is why I finally joined WW and started going back to the gym this week. I couldn't stand not fitting into any of my clothes anymore.

To get to my goal weight I still have 21lbs to lose. That is 5lbs lower then my Pre-pregnancy weight.

I live in Smithtown!

I am dying to lose all the weight. I am 9 weeks pp. I gained 35 pounds in total. I lost about 20 the first week and then another 5 but I still have 10 to lose. The scale has not moved for a week.


I am doing WW and I have not started excercising yet although I have thought about itChat Icon

HOWS EVERYONE DOING???

TODAY I TRIED WII FIT FOR THE FIRST TIME.. I LOVED IT! I ALSO WENT WALKING FOR 2 MILES....

tOMORROW IS MY FIRST TRAINING SESSION AT THE GYM WITH A TRAINER AT 7 AM! WISH ME LUCK... IM SO NERVOUS.... ESPECIALLY SINCE IM OUTTA SHAPE!!

How's everyone doing?

I'm so proud of myself i've been sticking to this diet thing for 3 days now. I know it's not long, but longer than i've gone in a loooong time!

After trying the Wii Fit with VWebb- I went out and bought Wii and Wii Fit. My mom just lent me the Jillian Michaels for Wii, so i'm gonna try that this weekend. I did Wii Fit yesterday morning and this morning, but it's hard with a 6 week old DD.

Yesterdays food was:

Breakfast: One waffle with peanut butter and a banana

Lunch: A small salad with sliced almonds and fat free french dressing and a baked potato with margarine and a drop of low fat sour cream.

Dinner: A grilled cheese on whole wheat made in the oven- no butter!


Today so far was the same breakfast, 3 eggwhites on a slice of whole wheat toast for lunch. I don't know what's for dinner yet.

I'm proud of myself and feel really good alreadyChat Icon I am determined to stick with this!

No- I don't watch it regularly. But that is how I ate my whole life and was always a consistent weight, and was very lean and toned. Since I got married, I began eating alot more, went through IF drugs and got pregnant. Needless to say, my weight shot up. I know what I have to eat and I will start off with very small portions and gradually add little things to them.

So Ladies hows everyone doing??

Ive only had 2 training sessions so far ... I had a nasty cold over the weekend.. which I couldnt go to 2 sessions... I went yesterday lost 4 lbs so far!!

But now my wrist is killing be and Dr thinks its sever carpal tunnel Chat IconChat Icon Chat Icon so not sure if I will be able to work with my trainer Chat Icon Chat Icon

Hope everyone is doing welll.... try to keep up with the postings!!!
