Okay - so here's my TTC Topic For Today...
This one has been upsetting me for a bit and i'm curious....
Can you see yourself pregnant? Like, can you close your eyes and see yourself all pregnancy bellied out, etc..
I can't and that concerns me. I don't know if it's because my brain won't let me get that happy by picturing it and then that dissappointed or what..
There are days when it bothers me and days when it doesn't...but it's been on my mind lately...

Don't let it concern you. I could never picture myself pregnant. Honestly, I still don't believe it. I see myself in the mirror and think "Thats not me."
Last night I was getting changed, DH looked at me and asked "did you ever think you'd get this far?" and I said "no, no I didn't." So I totally understand where you are coming from.

We've spoken about this before - but yes, I can picture myself pregnant. I imagine it, I dream about it, etc.
The thing I can't picture is seeing two lines on a pregnancy test!

jess- i never used to be able to picture myself pregnant, but then i was! so dont let that worry you!! i never was able to imagine being pregnant, having a baby, etc........ but it happened. hang in there hunnie

I voted 'other' since I already have DD. But when I found out I was preggo it was very hard for me to think about myself pregnant. I couldn't picture myself with a belly, waddling around with a baby inside of me, so I totally know what you mean
In all honesty I never REALLY realized the fact that I was pregnant. I mean I knew I had a baby growing inside of me and I loved to watch my belly grow but I kept waiting to wake up one day and 'get-it' like so many other moms but it never really happened for me. I loved being preggo and wouldn't have changed a thing so maybe with #2 I'll 'get-it'

I voted yes, but I think what I picture may not be what i'll look like.
I picture looking the same just with a belly, but i suspect it may not go that cute. I'll probably spread everywhere.

yes, it bothers me a lot. it makes me wonder if it's a "sign" that i never will be. although, when i was younger, i could never "picture" myself as a bride and that happened. so who knows.
