Ok...poop and first foods
Ok, so I have been giving pears to DS for the past 3 days, and the following mornings we've had EXPLOSIVE poop diapers the next day, today's being the worst
Now, he loves them, but do I stop giving them b/c it seems he can't really digest them yet? Is this an allergy?

I don't think its an allergy. DS just started cereal and has the same issue. Also, If I remember correctly pears are reccomended for constipation so they must act as a laxative. Plus, he does need time for his body to adjust to solid foods. I'm sure it will get better with some more time.

Pears have more fiber than the other fruits. Give them the day after you give a binding food. That seems to even it out.

I haven't given Thomas pears yet, but his poop has been hard as anything with applesauce!! Can't wait to give pears so hopefully they counteract the binding apples!

Oh my, same thing w/ Troy!! I was getting worried we were starting to have poop issues again!! Good to know it's the applesauce! I just started bananas today, pears are next

From my experience, bananas can do it too!! The pears seemed to "counteract: the bananas/applesauce!
I don't think its an allergy...just his little belly getting used to something new.
