I know someone who does...their kids on wear Stride Rite shoes and I know THOSE are not cheap. They also dont have a pot to pee in.
But I have to say that those are ADORABLE!!!

I know people that pay more. They only shop at Shoe Box and can pay up to $100.00 a pair. Me, I wait for a sale or go to Target and Payless.

I don't. I bought a pair of Stride Rite shoes for DD and she scratched them up in less than a week.

Her first real walking shoes from Stride Rite were $50... since then I have spent anywhere from 20-40 or so on a pair... I can't really find anything for much less in her size, she has very small feet...

Find a stride rite outlet -- you'll get last years super cute styles at half the price.

Re: OK..seriously..who pays $50 for Shoes for their kdis???
Honestly, I have He even has a pair that's more than $50. I do it because I like his everyday shoes to be Stride Rite, mainly for wear and tear and for his foot (he is an extra wide)... I do buy cheaper sneakers/shoes for outfit purposes too though (kid has way too many shoes).
ETA - I have gotten smarter about my shopping. I bought his last two Stride Rites through e-bates and Shoebuy.com and saved a few bucks!

Re: OK..seriously..who pays $50 for Shoes for their kdis???
I would spend that much easy...especially if I loved the shoes. I love buying Noah clothes.
also...$50 is only £25 for me!!! So thats what I would spend anyway!
Do you have Lelli Kellys in the states??

I buy him 2 pairs of shoes at Stride Rite at a time. However, I'll only shop at the outlet store where they're more like $25/pair.

Re: OK..seriously..who pays $50 for Shoes for their kdis???
I buy Stride Rite for my son when they are on sale or when I find them at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I found a pair last week for $19.99. Otherwise we shop at Payless, Target, etc. I bought Emma a pair of Stride Rite shoes for $16.99 at Marshalls. They are a size 1 (0-3mos) and still HUGE on her. They are the "Baby Stages" ones that they sell for $40 at the store.
I would never pay more than $20 for a pair of shoes unless it was medically necessary. My son had really wide feet when he was little and we did buy some expensive ones at first because I didn't know better but I found that I can also find wide width at Sears, Payless, etc. I mean..they only wear them for a couple of months so it's not like a crappy brand will even have the chance to wear out.

Re: OK..seriously..who pays $50 for Shoes for their kdis???
I had the wide foot problem as well with DS. But honestly Stride Rite is known for good quality shoes and while DC is learning and perfecting walking I think it's important to have a good sturdy shoe.

Re: OK..seriously..who pays $50 for Shoes for their kdis???
DD wears stride rite for every day wear and they run about $40. I would probably pay $50 if that is what they charged. Needless to say I spend a lot less on myself since she arrived on the scene.
