it's been about 2-3 weeks since hannah has been in a big girl bed. she has consistenly been getting up at 12 and 2 am. how can we teach her to stay in bed at night and why is she not sleeping thru the night anymore ?!
she was such a good sleeper when she was in the crib.

You have to just keep putting her back in the bed. Even if she gets out 30 times, just keep putting her back in. She will get the message. It might take a few nights (and it reallllllllly stinks for you, because all you want to do is sleep) but it works! I went through this with James when I brought Sean home from the hospital.

When you figure it out, please let me know. Ryan started off great in his bed, never got out. A few months later, and now he gets out all the time. It's a nightmare!

I have a gate on Ella's door, so she knows even if she gets out of bed, she's not going anywhere (I leave it open once she's asleep so she can come out freely in the mornings.
She's been in a bed for over a year now, so I'm considering removing the gate soon.

Ryan busted his gate down. He is the incredible hulk.
