OMG how do you let them CIO!
My heart is breaking! I feel horrible.
It's just been a really rough week. DD only took a 30min nap all day...so after dinner I gave her a bath then her bottle and she passed out...
Normally I hate to take a shower at night but I really just needed it well
just as I was getting in the phone rang and woke her up...I figured she'll just go back down...nope she screamed the whole time...I just kept telling myself she can cry for a few minutes so I can take my shower...OMG she just kept screaming...the longest it could have been is 15-20minutes before I rocked her to sleep..the poor thing is asleep now and she's still sobbing 
So much for a nice enjoying shower and an early night

AWWW poor thing, I just posted how I can't do the ferber method...I know it breaks my heart too. How old is DD?

she'll be 10 months on Monday
there have been a few nights where I let her cry for a minute or two and she went back down but this was screaming and I had my hair full of shampoo and a leg of shaving cream...I just kept thinking she'll go back down...nope just kept getting louder and more upset...oh it was killing me
I always figured I would let her CIO when the time came but I dont know if I could really do that when she is that upset
I just read your post...thats basicly what we do too...I even put her down before she's asleep and some nights it works

OMG I totally agree with you. I know in the middle of the night she will cry sometimes for a min or 2 and she just stops, it must be in her sleep...but I know what you mean w/ letting her CiO longer. I thought I would be able to do that too but when you are actually doing it, in the moment, it is so hard...sounds like your DD and mine cried the same way, that horrible horrible scream!!! DD threw up a little Monday night with me trying it...so I just can't do that again - to me or her...

The way I did it- I left the house and DH stayed home with her.  It worked great for us though.

Yeah that definately wouldn't work for ya dh runs at the first peep!
