OMG I hate my insurance company

DD's Dr just called and told me my ins co denied a claim. so she called and they told her dd was only covered from 4/2-4/9 and then again on 6/1. She was born 4/2. I was out of work on std from 4/2-6/1 and I paid my premiums out of pocket...they have no record of payment!! I'm looking at my bank accounts and I don't see the checks were cashed!! I sent two checks..I'm freaking. DD was not covered, will it have to come out of my pocket for her visits now?? I'm on hold with the STUPID ins company.

I had so much going on with DD during that time (we found out about her milk protein allergy at that time) and I know I sent the checks, but now there is no record!!

Oh I can relate! We took DD to the doctor last night for her 2 month shots and I was told our insurance DROPPED HER a month ago!! I was like HUH? Been on the phone with them all morning sorting it out.

omg...i totally hate ours too.

i had to send in the paperwork 3 times to add DD...the first two times they lost the paperwork & it was never submitted by the 3rd time they were telling me it was too late to add someone and that i missed the 30-45 day window...it took FOREVER to sort out!!!!! annnnnnd even WITH PROOF (and records on their end) they were giving me a hard time.

dont give up!
