OMG - my insurance does not cover ANY procedures

In 2007 they did. In 2008 they do not. We switched from my DH's insurance to mine bc we thought it was BETTER Chat Icon I look at my plan summary today and it says the only things that are covered are consultations, diagnostic tests and medications. Not IUI, IVF, GIFT etc...

I am so angry because we purposely switched from my DH's to mine bc we thought it was better.

I work in HR and looked the plan over in detail before I chose. Where this came from, I dont know. I am Chat Icon that it is a typo that I am looking at. I am going to call my benefits dept. tomorrow to clarify - and see what the story is. For 2007 I could have sworn it was there and so did my DH.

So, let's say I have to do IUI - how much does that normally run? I have a $2k deductible to meet. I hope that whatever our issue is that we do not have to go to IVF but who knows..

Jen - I have all the pricing at home from RMA NJ where I have been going. I think an IUI cycle (with clomid only) is about $300. I'll double check tonight and shoot you a FM

IUIs aren't so bad. IVFs are the killer. But let's hope IUIs work for you. I'm sorry about your insurance. You should ask if they cover Viagra Chat Icon
