yeah... and we're probably all related!  DH's family are all in Kildare, in Celbridge.... any connections there for you?
Not in Cellbridge although DH may have a cousin there. DH is from Allenwood, his dad is from Tipperary but lives in Allenwood still. His mom's sister is in Robertstown now, and he's got cousins in Rathangan, Kilmeague and somewhere else I can't think of..maybe Cellbridge. I know they play Allenwood in football.
My mom has cousin that has lived in Naas with his family for 30+ years but he's originally from Belfast. Small world!

I have no family in those parts.
I'm 100% Donegal. Yup, not just 100% Irish, 100% one county. All four grandparents born and raised within miles of Donegal Town.
My Dad's mom was from Frosses and his dad from Glenties
My mom's parents immigrated to Glasgow and then she came over here. Unfortunately, I don't have much connection to her side.
My DH isn't Irish. I'm probably directly related to way too many Donegalmen
