OMG, the scariest thing just happened!
So DH and I both have class on Monday nights and we usually do something quick for dinner. Tonight we got Chinese. We are midmeal, I am eating my Sesame Chicken, when a piece gets lodged in my throat. Actually choking!! Wouldnt go down, or come up! There was a good 20 seconds that I couldnt breathe and I was scared out of my mind! Good thing DH was extremely responsive and got ready to administer the heimlich. Luckily, the situation fixed itself before he needed to use it.
I still can't believe it happened. My throat is killing me now, but better off than another scenario. Needless to say, I will definately be chewing all meat at least 20 times from now on!

omg how scary.
this actually DID happen to me once when i was alone - i remember thinking, i'm going to choke to death here ALONE - it was awful! thankfully, it took care of itself but yikes, it was scary.
