The Scariest Thing Happened To Our Daughter Last Night
Our DD who is 6 weeks has bad reflux. She is now on expensive formula called Neocate mixed with Rice cereal. I was told with reflux she should be elevated at all times.
For this reason we have kept her sleeping in her infant car seat in the crib.
Last night I heard her crying extra loud on our monitor and came ino her room to find she moved herself all the way down her seat and her butt and legs were actually on the crib with her head laying near the foot end of the car seat. I was hysterical and hugged her SO tight. I kept imagining, "what if".
Here is my problem...we've tried a sleep positioner and she moved her way off that too and is so restricted.
What else should we do?? How do I elevate the matress? What should we use? We are too afraid to lay her flat in fear she'll choke on her spit-up.
Thanks for any and all advice

Can you put something under the mattress on one end, so that its elevated?
This may be a dumb question, but I'm assuming she wasn't strapped into the carseat if she slid down? Will she sleep if you buckle her in?

Re: The Scariest Thing Happened To Our Daughter Last Night
aww Im sorry.. glad to hear shes okay.
They sell mattress wedges that you can either put under the sheet and put baby on, which is what i did when my dd was that young, or you can put it under the mattress to elevate the mattress, which i do now at her age when shes sick. They sell them at BRU, but might only be available online. Or you can just take a rolled up Towel and put that under the mattress to elevate it on an angle.
Either way since dd is a squirmer, you may have to keep an eye on her still. B/c depending on how much of an elevation you do she will slide down to the bottom of crib, and not sure if you have bumpers on crib.. possibilty of getting tangled in. (not to scare you, just a warning to be aware of b/c my dd was a squirmer and ended up at bottom with face against side of crib).
