hoping for a better day today! 
also with the phones, if the circuits are busy - have someone out of state call.
long distance can get through for some reason better than local calls. i know on 9/11 i had relatives calling out of state and out of the country that were able to get through while local calls were not

I invision the lunitic who set our fire as babbling in front of the tv screaming Excelllllent with a s*hit eating grin in their face.
Dear newscasters..please learn how to pronounce the names in my area. Also look at a map you are bunching us all into one location.Malibu is NOT the only concern. They are the LEAST effecd fire area.

Yes indeed! It's the 3rd fire this year that started in that location by my house. It's gotta be the same person or persons

So surreal and sad as I saw all the black smoke to my left all the way to work.
I can see my sisters area
I can't believe what is being reported here. The winds are NOT stopped and it's 85 degrees here as of 7am
