I was hoping there would be better news now that it's day 4 of this wildfire!
I'm sending prayers to you, your family and all those affected!!!
DH and I were reading Newsday today - they were saying the fires will take another 3-4 days to handle, or will push to the ocean where they will finally be extinguished.
I can't even imagine!!!!!!!!

In my area Orange County they are predicting at least a week or more. It's still raging out of control in the area starting 1 mile E from me
Perspective: Yesterday they had 2 firefighters in the Canyon that the fire started going into that is inhabited with people here and there....today we have 600!!!!!!!!!!!! We have gotten squat for support until now
There is almost 20,000 acres currently still burning here. No way this fire could reach the ocean .
10 miles southeast for that area is my sisters house which her area is STILL in danger and surrounded.

LOL I was going to make a post that as of now Coto was safe for all us OC Housewives fans
BUT the way this fire is spreading there is no way of saying any area is safe.
Finally people in our fire area of OC are flooding a morning talk shows to get the word out how we have been largely ignored here.
We still currently have 20,00+ acres burning out of control and it is burning structures now.
Other larger fires in some areas past LA are just burning in open brush...
We have alot of homes in peril now.

SOmething new is burning SE of me near the point of origin. Neighbors in their yards staring.
The FBI is on scene only because the national forest is close to the end of our canyons.
Hopefully they can find the arsonist
Also apparently work doesn't like that I've been
a bit distracted
 How dare I care 
Oh and the best part is we had a 4.5 Earthquake at 5am and no one cares

isn't that always the way? well they need to back off - i am so surprised that everyone in your area is not more understanding. . . . i am shocked and i know that i shouldnt be - i am slowly learning how selfish people can be

Work said that? As if you are the only person this is happening to? W T H???? I think if anything warrants you being distracted, uh.... this would be it. Have they seen the flames? Are they severely visioned impaired with no sense of smell? What dumb@$$es
And that's just creepy about the earthquake because I swear my FIL said yesterday that, as if things couldn't be any worse, he would bet there would be an earthquake too I told him to shut it!!
