One year old eating/waking up early issues please help!! Sorry LONG!
I feel like we are going backwards in terms of eating and I need help! DD doesn't really eat table food all that well. She refuses baby food all together. The table food I give her she chews for the most part but then mostly spits it out so I know she is really not getting calories that way.
So mostly she drinks her bottle. I reduced her bottles to 4 instead of 5 and she seemed fine with it. Now she is waking between 4 - 5 and I feed her and she gulps down the bottle so I think she is really hungry. Then it is hard to keep her on 4 bottles when she is up from 4 until 7pm, so we are now back to 5 bottles again.
I just feel like she is drinking too much formula but I can't seem to get her to eat food, so it seems like this cycle is hard to break and she will continue to drink 25-30 oz. is that too much at 1 year old?

My 15 month old has been drinking 15oz a day since about 10-11 months but she eats very well. she eats every meal that I make for the family. My suggestion is this, be creative with trying foods and persistent. If she likes something than give it to her everyday, do not worry about her getting bored. When she is eating more solids than you can switch up the variety more. I have learned that my kids like alot of foods that I do not.

I agree. There have been tons of times where jacen will spit out food and i always thought he didn't like it. But then i tried it again... maybe a week or two later and he'd eat it.
Have you tried putting some sort of sauce on things? Like ranch dressing on veggies? does she eat yobaby? Do you give snacks during the day? How many teeth does she have?
Jacen is 13 months and he drinks about 20 ounces of formula a day. Sometimes 14 ounces. Sometimes 24 ounces. Depends on the day.
Oh and for the past 3-4 weeks, jacen has been waking up at 5:45am every morning for the day. I don't know why. Early bedtimes don't help. Changing his naps doesn't help. I wish i had the answer on that one.

How many bottles does Jacen get? How many hours in between bottles? She can only go like 4 tops 5 hours before she wants another bottle.
Julia reacted bad to yobaby when I gave it to her awhile back, I could try a diff. brand. She has 6 teeth. She eats puffs, cheerios and goldfish for snacks, sometimes a Dorito or two
I don't know. She seems to like the food, but chews, then spits it out, then literally puts it back in again I feel liike I should just keep her on the bottles so she sleeps later, that seems to be what works. I just feel like we should be moving away from bottles!
