One year old..nap question

If you DC still takes two naps a day...what does there schedule look like.

Luke goes to bed to 8ish and doesn't get up until about 9ish....
nap at noon (sometimes he can nap for 2-3 hours)
then he seems to be up for the rest of the day or is ready for a nap around 6....but then he would never get to bed. Just wondering since I feel like he still needs two but it seems like there just isn't enough time to get them in...

Thanks...

Re: One year old..nap question

Liam is pretty much on one nap now. Only if we're out and he is in the car will we get two naps.

Generally he goes down at 10AM and goes till 12:30-1PM sometimes, not always.

He gets up at around 630-7AM and goes to bed at 8PM.

My DS has always been a horrible napper. In fact two days ago he didn't nap at all and what a cranky pants he was!!!!

P.S. I WISH Liam would sleep till 9AM!!!! He too goes down at 8PM. GRRR

Re: One year old..nap question

Sasha sleeps about 6 30 PM to 6ish AM...

Depending on when she wakes up (can be anywehre ffrom 5 45 to 6 45), she'll go down for a nap somewhere b/t 8 30 and 9 30... then I put her down again at about 2.

Neither nap is particularly long, but she goes right to sleep usually, so I know this is working for her.

I breakfast at 7 45, lunch at 12 and dinner at 5.

Re: One year old..nap question

DD is still taking two nice naps a day.

Wakes between 6:30/7:00 am

Goes down for her first nap around 9. Sometimes she'll right to sleep, sometimes she'll play in her crib for up to an hour before she falls asleep. She is CLEARLY tired though when I put her down.

She will nap for close to 2 hours.

Wakes and has a bottle around 11 and then lunch around 12:30/1:00.

2nd nap around 2/2:30. Will usually sleep for 2.5-3 hours.

Dinner at 6

Bedtime routine starts at 7 and by 7:30 she is in bed and generally falls right to sleep.

I know!!! She's like her daddy and LOVES her sleep. She actually gets excited when we put her down... bizzarro child!

I'm already resigning myself to the fact that baby #2 is going to drive me to insanity given how spoiled I am with Samantha.
